LA SENTEUR : l’ART INVISIBLE
Unseen and untouchable, fragrance dissolves time. A breath of orange blossom, linen warmed by summer sun, the mineral air after rain. Suddenly, the present opens and the past steps through. Scent drifts and lingers, a memory made visible. Painters can only hint at this invisible force. Fragrance is no mere background but a presence that seduces and intoxicates, able to evoke secrets and fold memory into the present. This is the essence of perfume, a ghost that touches though it has no hands, a lover that lingers long after departure. Join us this spring as three eminent speakers explore the unseen art of scent and its spell on memory and the senses.
