French Summer Camp 2026
Have fun, make friends, and learn French!
L’Alliance Française de Chicago offers a French Summer Camp with activities including art, sports, yoga, outings, cooking, music, dance, theatre and more. Our camp is an immersive French experience, but no prior French knowledge is necessary. Campers will develop new skills, make new friends, and above all, have fun!
Summer Camp at the Alliance is divided into Pre-School (ages 3–5) and Kids Camp (ages 6–12).The program runs for 9 weeks, with the option to enroll by the week or for the full session. Discounts are available for full-session enrollment, and early-bird discounts apply to weekly enrollment. Keep scrolling to learn more about schedules and registration!

For learners age 3–5, Preschool Summer Camp runs for nine weeks, from June 8 – August 7. With our week-by-week registration, you can change schedules from one week to the next! We offer the following schedule options:
Morning only: 9:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Afternoon only: 1:15 – 3:45 p.m.
Full day: 9:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Early drop off available starting at 8:30 a.m. and late pick up available until 4:30 p.m.

For those interested in volunteering, Summer Camp runs weekly for nine weeks beginning June 8 until August 7. Volunteers must sign up for an entire week, Monday through Friday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and finishing the day at 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon. You may volunteer for more than one week during the summer!
Volunteers assist the teachers with all aspects of the day: art projects, songs, lunchtime, field trips, to name a few of the activities.
This summer’s volunteers will receive a complimentary year-long membership to the Alliance, as well as a complimentary class for one week of volunteering, and two complimentary classes for more than one week of volunteering*.
