Private classes allow more personalization, one-on-one attention, and pace flexibility than group classes. In fact, many students learn faster in private lessons!

We may not be able to accommodate a pairing right away, and we may not be able to provide tutoring for all days / times desired. Additionally, we currently have extremely limited availability for in-person lessons.

Class Cancellation
The Alliance Française de Chicago requires a 24-hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling. No-shows, as well as cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, are non-refundable and will result in the lesson being deducted from the student’s package. To inform of a cancellation or schedule change, students should contact their instructor directly.

Books & Materials
Our instructors usually provide photocopies. However, they can recommend additional materials that are not included in the tutoring fees. Students will have to purchase any textbooks or activity workbooks used during lessons.
