Join us as we kick off our special La Coupe du Monde à l’Alliance Française de Chicago!
In partnership with le Consulat Général de France à Chicago, the Consulate General of Australia, Chicago Sister Cities International Paris and Sydney, French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC), Australian New Zealand American Chamber of Commerce (ANZACC), French in Chicago, and Australians in Chicago.
Before the game starts, we will have a friendly discussion between Didier Chambaron, FIFA Instructor and National Coach for US Soccer, and Robert Rixer, professional soccer player who played in the 2nd tier of Australian soccer (NPL) and later overseas in the Philippines.
This discussion will be moderated by Michele Steele, ESPN National Reporter and Host.
We will also have special performances of the French and Australian national anthems.
Show up and support your team with jerseys and cheers!
Light refreshments will be provided.
