Kids and their families are invited to join us for a free Cambodian classical dance and music workshop, presented in partnership with the Cambodian National Heritage Museum & Killing Fields Memorial as part of our 2026 Festival de la Francophonie.
The Tep Nimmit Dance Troupe will conduct a one-hour workshop on Cambodian classical dance and music, where participants will learn the fundamentals of the dance through foundational exercises, dance vocabulary, history, and two performances by the Troupe alongside demonstration of percussion music.
Guests will enjoy complimentary Cambodian-style coffee and juices.

The Tep Nimmit Dance Troupe is a Chicago-based Cambodian classical dance company associated with the National Cambodian Heritage Museum & Killing Fields Memorial. The troupe’s mission is to preserve and perform Cambodian traditional arts.
