An Advanced Tasting Experience with Cedar Stoltenow

Join us in the Alliance’s Helen Wood Prince Salon for an elevated tasting experience with our sommelière Cedar Stoltenow. The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail and complimentary hors d’œuvres, followed by a tasting journey featuring premium French wines.

This program is aimed at those with a solid foundation in wine who are looking to advance their knowledge and take their tasting skills to the next level.

🍇 Back to Burgundy: join us for a tasting of Burgundy’s best whites, looking at classic expressions of white Burgundy from the different appellations within the region. These wines showcase the minerality and richness of Burgundy, but in a variety of different ways, from Chablis, through the Côte d’Or and down into the Maconnais. 

🚪 Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a welcome drink and light hors d’œuvres. Tasting starts at 6:30.


About Cedar Stoltenow
Cedar began her career in wine in 2017, after leaving the field of computational linguistics in search of a more balanced life. Cedar passed the WSET levels 2 and 3 within the year, and spent 2018 working harvests in both New Zealand and Napa Valley. She received her WSET Diploma in 2023.

In addition to her day job, Cedar also runs her own wine education and consulting business, Un Pot de Vin, which offers private wine education, event planning, and sommelier services, as well as contributing regularly to wine/food blogs around the world. Working in wine offers Cedar a chance to share her love of wine, food, and travel with others, creating sensory experiences that make lasting memories.
