Join us for the opening of our fall exhibition featuring Chicago-based Franco-Tunisian visual artist WERIEM.
In her exhibition premiere, WERIEM presents a collection of original artwork inspired by Pierrot, the iconic French character rooted in commedia dell’arte. Celebrate the vernissage (art exhibition launch) and explore Pierrot’s captivating essence through a harmonious blend of black and white, vibrant colors, and exquisite details.
🍷 Vernissage guests will hear from the artist about her process and inspiration, get a first look at her dreamlike work displayed in the Eleanor Wood Prince salon, and enjoy complimentary French wine and hors d’oeuvres with fellow art enthusiasts in a festive, convivial atmosphere.
♫ Alec Feldges, a classical guitarist inspired by the French-Italian heritage of Pierrot, will provide the background music to warmly welcome guests to the event.
🚪 Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Artist’s remarks begin at 6:30. Please enter via 54 W Chicago Ave.
