About the Guest

Stuart Dyer is the founder of Ladybug Vintage LLC, a finely curated collection of high-end, vintage designer jewelry and accessories. Launched in 2009, Ladybug Vintage blends Dyer’s lifelong passion for vintage with her expertise in the worlds of fashion and design. Ladybug Vintage pieces are worn by fashionable ladies all over the world and have been acquired by companies such as Gucci and Kenzo for their vintage archives. In 2011 Ladybug Vintage was featured in Gwyneth Paltrow’s goop guide as a place to source vintage in Chicago. Prior to starting Ladybug Vintage, Dyer worked as a designer for Lilly Pulitzer, Lands’ End and Tommy Hilfiger - where as head designer she launched Hilfiger’s inaugural women’s swimwear line. Dyer’s Hilfiger swimwear designs graced the pages of numerous publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Dyer began her career by working for the largest vintage fabric swatch house in Manhattan (the Textile Design Group) where she worked with vintage fabrics and helped designers from leading apparel companies source inspiration. Dyer holds a BA from Hamilton College in Art History and has completed advanced course work in fashion design at Parson’s School of Design. Ladybug Vintage focuses primarily on the glamorous eras of the 1950’s to the 1980’s - whimsy, refinement and insouciance are the hallmarks the collection. Dyer’s mission is to present vintage as something special but accessible. She believes that wearing vintage enables a woman to express a bit of her own creativity and to not see herself coming and going. Ladybug Vintage’s clientele are encouraged to make their own rules and to do so with confidence and flair.
