Story hour

Bonjour, petits lecteurs!

Join us at the Brown Library for a playful French-language story hour designed especially for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers. Children ages 0–3 will enjoy short, engaging stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and simple activities that introduce French in a fun and welcoming environment. No prior knowledge of French is needed—everyone is welcome!

This interactive program supports early literacy, language development, listening skills, and the joy of sharing books and songs together. Caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their little ones as we read, sing, move, and play in French.

French Story Hour will meet every other Monday from 10:00–10:45 a.m. in the Brown Library, beginning September 14 and continuing through November 9. Bring your little one, your curiosity, and your love of stories for a cozy and joyful introduction to French!

Join us for a playful story hour filled with discovery, imagination, and little adventures. Children will travel through stories in French—without ever leaving the library!
