    George Robin Painting

    Please make note of this beautiful original oil painting by Georges Charles Robin depicting the village of Carranac on the Dordogne river.

    Born in Paris in 1903, as a painter, he was particularly attracted to Brittany, Normandy and the Loire Valley. He became a professor and elected officer at the Ecole des Beaux-Art, winning major French painting awards. Georges Robin paintings reside in numerous important private and museum collections around the world.

    This painting was donated by Paul and Anne Krauss and will be auctioned off by Freeman’s | Hindman auctions in their European Art Auction on May 16th .
