(The Symposium on French Architecture is a fundraising event, benefitting cultural and educational programming. After reception included.)
Join us this fall as we present another edition of our French architecture series titled ICONS. This industry insider lecture series welcomes architects and designers involved in some of the most exciting projects in France.
“My story and involvement with Villa Stein-de Monzie, or Les Terrasses, as it is often called, is one of circumstance, passion and excitement about bringing this historic monument back into the public realm and back into the narrative of history, or, more simply put, “back to life.”
Currently it is not open to the public, it is rarely visited, and it is set back so far from the road to be barely visible. It is an exceptional building and, above all, it is an exceptional idea in which early 20th century Modern painting overlaps with a BUILT IDEA.
All audience members are invited to the post lecture reception for a complimentary glass of wine in the Alliance salon.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
