Personal Shopper is a 2016 Olivier Assayas supernatural psychological thriller film that follows star Kristen Stewart as Maureen Cartwright, who takes the haunting journey from personal shopper to a runway supermodel in Paris. Ever since she and her twin brother, Lewis were young, they have shared a special power of being able to speak to the dead. When Lewis passes away suddenly, she begins to receive not only messages from her brother telepathically, but also a string of random text messages claiming to be from her recently deceased brother. Assayas shows a journey of what it looks like to accept loss, morality and how to navigate the crushing isolation death leaves to the living.

Kristen Stewart, as Maureen, is known for wearing many stunning Chanel pieces throughout the film. Stewart has been classified as a “Chanel Muse since the Métiers d’Art, Paris-Dallas fashion show in 2013” so there was no hesitation for her to wear the different Chanel signature pieces.
