Cultural Events

The Alliance Française de Chicago offers a wide variety of events that reflect the richness and diversity of the Francophone world.

The Alliance Française de Chicago is delighted to announce the winter-spring 2026 cultural season!

This Winter–Spring 2026 cultural season captures the richness of the Francophone world, which comes alive through a carefully curated program of cultural experiences. From exhibitions and intimate author talks to immersive cooking workshops, visionary film screenings, tastings, and live performances, each event offers a window into creativity, dialogue, and global perspectives.

Designed for Francophones, Francophiles, and anyone curious about the arts, the season celebrates diversity and excellence across dance, theater, music, visual art, film, gastronomy, and literature. Featuring artists and thinkers with roots from Francophone lands around the world, our program reflects the vibrancy of the francophone cultural landscape, blending tradition with contemporary innovation.

Highlighting the season is the Festival de la Francophonie (February 27–March 31), a flagship celebration of francophone creativity, ideas, and performance that showcases the relevance of French-speaking cultures worldwide.
