Description

Join us for the opening of Inside, our spring art exhibition featuring the work of Chicago-based French photographer Anaïd de Dieuleveult.

Across three photographic series produced between 2009 and 2024, de Dieuleveult explores the relationship between landscape, perception, and emotional experience. Moving between Paris, the Moroccan coast, and Chicago, the works gathered under the title Inside trace a gradual transformation in the role of color within the photographic image technique. Color first appears as a compositional accent, later expands into an atmospheric field, and ultimately emerges as a physical gesture applied directly onto the surface of the photograph.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear from the artist, explore the collection, and mix and mingle with their fellow Francophiles and art enthusiasts over a complimentary glass of French wine.

Doors at 6:00 pm. Brief speaking program at 6:30. Please enter via 54 W Chicago Ave. Non-alcoholic options will be available.
