All are welcome to join this engaged group of Parisphiles to discuss The Making of Paris, by Russell Kelley—a tale of the evolution of Paris from a small fishing village to the enthralling metropolis of today. The group is facilitated by David Reithoffer--a frequent traveler to the “City of Light”--who views the subject with the keen eye of an insider. This Reading Group will meet seven times – every other Thursday starting June 17 to September 9. Attend one or all! Here is the discussion group overview.
Join us for the first of seven Zoom sessions, all in English, to discuss The Making of Paris by Russell Kelley. No need to have read the book! This week, friend of the Alliance Française David Reithoffer leads the group through an introduction to the book and to Paris.
The book is available for purchase at The Alliance Française de Chicago. Contact: email@example.com to order yours today!
