The Night Eats the World / La Nuit a dévoré le monde by Dominic Rocher (France, 2018, 94 min.)

In French with English subtitles.

Zombies have been seen all around the world, but very rarely in Paris. Waking up after a party with the worst kind of hangover, Sam discovers that the streets are filled with the undead.

This tale of isolation in the City of Lights plays on minimalism.  Far from the infected of 28 Days Later, those living dead are slow, quiet, but still very hungry for human flesh. Viewers will share Anders Danielsen (Oslo, August 31st) fears while he explores the typical Paris’ building, hoping for him to discover survivors and to not get bitten by the neighbor in his bathrobe that has a taste for anything living.
