Each year in June, the Champs Elysees Film Festival celebrates American and French independent cinema on the most beautiful avenue in the world. It is also the most important film festival held in Paris, combining the official competition screenings of short and feature films in French and English to master classes given by directors and DJ sets on a rooftop high above the Arc de Triomphe.
I aimed to create in Paris a great film festival presenting the best of French and American independent filmmaking dear to my heart. It is essential to reclaim the Champs-Elysées Avenue as a place of culture and celebration for all. -- Sophie Dulac, Founder and President
