Scott is back with a new wine tasting series designed to transform all wine buffs into true oenophiles!
Follow us on a tasting tour de France and expand your knowledge by comparing wines of different price and quality. From best buys and vin de pays to more complex and expansive châteaux and premier cru. For those of you coming straight from work, each class will start with a typical French apéro to relax a little before moving on to the taste of terroir. After having exchanged taste notes and opinions with your voisin de table, you will have a new best friend thanks to the most convivial experience offered at the Alliance!
Introductory Class : Break down the technical components of wine to take a closer look at the appearance, nose and palate. Learn to “Taste like a Professional” by assessing the wine’s color intensity, aromas, sweetness, acidity, body, tannin, alcohol, flavors and finish. This class will give you the tools necessary to thoughtfully assess any wine and form an opinion.
