The author of Bringing Paris Home and The New French Interior returns to the Alliance !

How to shop Paris’ fleamarkets was the topic of Penny’s popular talk last time she was with us. She returns to tell us more about how to achieve the quintessential  elegance of a Paris interior--  sometimes all that is needed is the right detail. Inspired by influential designers past and present, from Dorothy Draper to Philippe Stark, Penny leads us in an incisive exploration of the essential aspects of contemporary interiors.
In conversation with Betsey Pinkert, a member of the Alliance Board of Directors who also spends part of each year in Paris.
This program will be followed by a book sale and signing session with the author.

Penny Drue Baird, founder of New York and Paris-based Dessins, is an internationally renowned interior designer and author and a twenty-year veteran of the AD 100. Her work appears frequently in Architectural Digest and other magazines.
