With Mathilde Vital Durand
Saturday, February 17 at 10:45 a.m.
810 N Dearborn St.
Taught by Mathilde, this workshop will include stories in French, both from books and from our online library Culturethèque as well as a hands on activity. Each workshop is based on a theme and participants will be led to participate!
This week's theme is des câlins / hugs!
Everyone loves hugs! They are a universal sign of love and friendship. So, come listen to stories about friends and families that love giving hugs. What a great way to start your weekend. Spread the love!
Prerequisite: No previous French required. Ages 1 and up. Parents have to stay with their child if they are less than 3 years old.
This is the second of three story tellings in the 02/10 - 03/03 series.
Mathilde was born and raised in France but has settled down in Chicago after travelling the world for the past few years. She created the program Tell me a French story. This project started with her dream to transmit the French language to non-francophones and is fueled by her passion for children and French literature. She likes to sing, make children laugh and see them absorbed in a book.View profile
