It may be cold outside, but this spirits-based class is designed to keep you warm. Learn the history of rum in France and it's Carribbean colonies while sipping a rum-based cocktail. Mix and bake traditional baba au rhum, yeasted broiche-like cakes soaked with a rum syrup and garnished with creme chantilly.

Beth Somers

Food Network's Cupcake Wars’ winner Beth Somers is a classically trained pastry chef. She has made thousands of cakes for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations while working on all sides of the food industry. On her off days, she enjoys cooking and eating salty things (but mostly ice cream).
