Taught by Mathilde, this workshop will include stories in French, both from books and from our online library Culturethèque as well as a hands on activity. Each workshop is based on a theme and participants will be led to participate!

This week's theme is le corps / the body!
Where is... your belly button? your head? your hand? The human body is a full of parts that all make up a marvelous machine. Join this story telling and listen to fun and educational stories about the human body!

Prerequisite: No previous French required. Ages 1 and up. Parents have to stay with their child if they are less than 3 years old.

This is the second of three story tellings in the 01/13 - 01/27 series.

Mathilde Vital Durand

Mathilde was born and raised in France but has settled down in Chicago after travelling the world for the past few years. She created the program Tell me a French story. This project started with her dream to transmit the French language to non-francophones and is fueled by her passion for children and French literature. She likes to sing, make children laugh and see them absorbed in a book.
