The Normandy region of France is well known for its apple crops, growing over 100 varieties. Welecome to the fall season with an homage to Normandy, the birthplace of Calvados and tarte Tatin.
In this after-work hands-on class, sip a Calvados cocktail crafted by a Three Dots and a Dash mixologist while preparing traditional poulet à la normande (Chicken with apples and cream), haricots verts (green beans) and tarte Tatin.
This workshop will last 3 hours.
Food Network's Cupcake Wars’ winner Beth Somers is a classically trained pastry chef. She has made thousands of cakes for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations while working on all sides of the food industry. On her off days, she enjoys cooking and eating salty things (but mostly ice cream).
