The French National Holiday commemorates the storming of the Bastille, a medieval fortress and prison in Paris, and the start of la révolution, on le 14 juillet 1789. Bring your own picnic on the lawn of the Lycée Français de Chicago or buy it from the food trucks while enjoying a family friendly event with a kid's corner, pétanque, music by DJ Maxime Bonnard. We recommend you start training now for the Waiter’s Race: run as fast as you can while balancing a tray…without spilling a drop of Grand Cru! Fun guaranteed! Followed by an outdoor movie screening at dusk.
