Saison 2 - Unit 8 (A2 Level)

This is the eighth section of the Saison 2 sequence for A2 Advanced Beginners transitioning into the B1 level. In this unit, you'll strengthen your ability to discuss social issues and civic engagement while learning to express your goals, hopes, and commitment to issues that matter to you. You'll practice encouraging others, expressing different degrees of certainty, describing charitable initiatives, and writing simple formal correspondence for real-world situations. Through authentic resources, collaborative activities, and communicative tasks, you'll practice expressing purpose, forming hypotheses with the imperfect, and using the past tense to recount events. You'll build vocabulary related to community engagement, social issues, health, sports, and volunteer organizations. Culturally, you'll discover associations, charitable organizations, and civic initiatives throughout the francophone world while exploring how individuals can make a positive impact in their communities. By the end of this course, you'll be able to communicate more confidently about social engagement, community projects, and the causes that are important to you.
