Défi Actuel 2 - Unit 2 (A2 Level)

This is the second section of this A2-level Défi Actuel 2 sequence for Advanced Beginners. In this unit, you'll develop the language needed to discuss health, wellness, and medical care in French. You'll learn to describe symptoms, explain medical concerns, ask for and understand advice, and discuss healthy habits while becoming more comfortable navigating everyday healthcare situations. Through authentic resources, communicative activities, and real-world tasks, you'll practice giving instructions with the imperative, expressing quantity using plus and plus de, and reinforcing your use of indirect object pronouns (COI) in everyday conversation. You'll build vocabulary related to illnesses, medical professionals, treatments, medications, parts of the body, and healthy lifestyles. Culturally, you'll discover healthcare systems and wellness practices in France and other francophone regions. By the end of this course, you'll be able to communicate more confidently when discussing your health or seeking medical assistance.
