Book Club (B2 Level)

Explore contemporary French literature through Changer l’eau des fleurs by Valérie Perrin, a moving and richly layered novel that combines humor, emotion, mystery, and reflections on love, loss, and the unexpected paths of life. This 8-week course invites students to read and discuss the novel in French, strengthening their ability to understand and employ literary language, express opinions, analyze characters and themes, and engage in thoughtful discussions. Classes will incorporate guided conversation, vocabulary and language work, and selected passages from the text, with a focus on building confidence and fluency through authentic literary French.
