The exhibition, now on view at the Art Institute of Chicago through May 12, is an "outstanding, exceptional, exhilarating" exhibition of modern masterworks from Cézanne to Picasso. Vollard, born in Ile-de-la-Réunion in 1866 was one of the most influential art dealers to have ever set foot in Paris.

Gloria Groom, the David and Mary Winton Green Curator at the Art Institute and co-organizer of this exhibition will speak about Monsieur Vollard's formidable career and the artist's he dealt with.

The 450-page, fully illustrated catalogue that accompany's this exhibition will be on hand for sale and signing.
