Registration for Alliance Française cultural events can be made in person, over the telephone, by mail, or on the web site.

Please make all checks payable to: Alliance Française de Chicago. We accept Visa, Discover and Mastercard only. Please note: a reservation is only confirmed upon receiving payment.


The Alliance Française de Chicago is a nonprofit organization committed to offering both free and fee based events. We will refund event fees upon special request which must be called in to and accepted by the Director of Cultural Programs no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the program. Fees are non-transferable to other cultural programs or classes.


In view of our non profit status, space limitations and ongoing relationships with culinary professionals we require paid reservations for all culinary events. Any cancellation not made 48 hours prior to the event will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee. No cancellations accepted the day of the event.


The Alliance Française de Chicago now has two parking locations for your convenience:
LAZ Parking at 671 N. Clark (SE corner of Clark and Huron): $8.00 any time, good for a 12-hour period (with validation at the Alliance Française's reception desk)
InterPark at 100 W. Chestnut (Indoor-parking): $8.00, good for a 12–hour period (with validation at the Alliance Française's reception desk) · No overnight parking
Metered parking is available on Dearborn Street, Chestnut Street and Chicago Avenue. Daytime parking restrictions apply, so be sure to read the posted signs. There are also parking lots to the west and south of the Alliance Française which charge an hourly fee.
